By accessing or using the HeartX website, enrolling in any course, purchasing any product, completing any certification, or otherwise interacting with any HeartX service (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable policies incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
- Description of Services
HeartX provides physician-developed online education and training programs in cardiovascular life support, including but not limited to:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification and recertification training programs
HeartX delivers digital educational content, assessments, and certificates of completion upon successful course completion.
- Independent Provider; No Affiliation
HeartX is an independent education platform.
HeartX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the American Heart Association (AHA), the American Red Cross, or any other certifying organization, unless explicitly stated in writing.
All references to resuscitation science, guidelines, or clinical standards are for educational purposes only and do not imply endorsement.
- Nature of Certification
HeartX provides certificates of completion based on successful completion of course requirements.
These certificates:
represent completion of a HeartX training program
do not guarantee acceptance by any employer or institution
are not equivalent to third-party certifications unless explicitly stated
Users are solely responsible for verifying acceptance requirements with their employer or institution.
- Employer Acceptance and User Responsibility
Acceptance of online certification varies across employers, institutions, and regulatory bodies.
You agree that:
you are responsible for verifying requirements prior to purchase
HeartX does not guarantee universal acceptance
HeartX is not liable for employer or institutional decisions
- Refund Assurance
HeartX offers a 100% refund if your employer or institution does not accept your HeartX certificate for its intended purpose, subject to the following:
request must be made within a reasonable time
reasonable verification of non-acceptance may be required
refund applies only to the course fee paid to HeartX
HeartX reserves the right to prevent abuse of this policy.
- Course Access and Use
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access purchased content for personal use only.
You may not:
share accounts
reproduce or distribute course materials
resell or commercially exploit content
misrepresent certification
- No Medical Advice
All content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Use of the Services does not create a physician-patient relationship.
- No Guarantee of Outcomes
HeartX does not guarantee:
clinical performance
exam success outside the platform
employment outcomes
credential acceptance
- Platform Availability
HeartX does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.
Services may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
- Intellectual Property
All content on the platform is owned by HeartX or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
HeartX disclaims all implied warranties including:
merchantability
fitness for a particular purpose

- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeartX shall not be liable for:
indirect or consequential damages
loss of income or employment
clinical outcomes
certification acceptance decisions
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the course.
- User Conduct
You agree not to:
misuse the platform
engage in fraudulent activity
misrepresent certifications
violate applicable laws
HeartX may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
- Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HeartX from any claims arising from:
misuse of services
violation of these Terms
reliance by third parties on your representations
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Texas.
You waive objections to jurisdiction and venue.
- Waiver of Jury Trial; Class Action Waiver
You agree to waive:
the right to a jury trial
participation in class actions
All claims must be brought individually.
- Modifications to Terms
HeartX may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
- Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
